The HealthWell Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit, charitable organization that helps individuals afford prescription medications they are taking for specific illnesses. The Foundation provides financial assistance to eligible patients to cover certain out-of-pocket health care costs, including: Prescription drug coinsurance, co-payments, and deductibles, Health insurance premiums, other selected out-of-pocket health care costs. Some pharmaceutical companies offer assistance programs for the drugs they manufacture. Click on the first letter of your drug name to see if any programs are available for the drugs you are taking. Patient Assistance Foundation

The Abbott Patient Assistance Foundation provides free Abbott medicines, medical nutritionals, and diabetes care products to qualified patients who are experiencing financial difficulties and who generally do not have coverage available for these products through private insurance or government funded programs. Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

The NeedyMeds – Drug Discount Card

Not a patient assistance program but a source of information on thousands of programs that may be able to offer assistance to people in need and offer a free drug discount card that may be able to help you obtain a lower price on your medication. For detailed information visit their website.
