When brain injury occurs, it can be hard learning new terminology, learning how to manage you or your loved one’s brain injury, and understanding challenges that might arise during the recovery process. At the bottom of the page, you’ll find links to webinars and books all about brain injury.

The webinars linked here were developed by the Georgia Brain and Spinal Injury Trust Fund Commission to help brain injury survivors, caregivers, educators, health care professionals, and other community stakeholders better understand brain injury in childhood and adolescence and provide support to those who are living with the aftermath of brain trauma. Multiple topics are covered, such as the anatomy of the brain, medical and family issues after brain injury, and effects of concussion on learning.

We also provide a sample of books that span a range of interests, from medical texts, to personal accounts of injury and recovery. We’ll be updating our books regularly to add new texts, and send us a message if you know of another good resource to add to our library.
