HOW CAN WE HELP?

So here we are - Georgian’s continue to do the right thing by banding together to stop the spread of COVID-19. If we stick with it, we’ll see the other side of the pandemic soon and be stronger than ever. All BIAG staff continue to work from home and are available to help you with questions about brain injury resources and information.

BIAG is committed to helping brain injury individuals, children, family members, veterans as well as the many professionals who work with the brain injured. Scroll down and select an icon to learn more. Resources click on sidebar. Our services are for Traumatic Brain Injury and Acquired Brain Injury that occurs AFTER birth (not birth related or hereditary diseases)

SUPPORT GROUP PROGRAM
The Brain Injury Association of Georgia (BIAG) offers a number of ongoing programs and services to support brain injury that include our state wide volunteer-administered support groups to provide an opportunity for those individuals and family members affected by brain injury not only to learn more about brain injury but to be present in a safe and encouraging venue to discuss the challenges they face. Please see our Support Group Brochure for more information. You can also click here to find a support group near you!

We also offer a national online support group that meets every Tuesday at 4 pm EST. Contact Kelly at kellymc620@gmail.com for more information.

CAMP BIAG
Camp BIAG incorporates an overnight weekend camp experience into the special needs of the brain injury community. It is the only one of its kind in Georgia and specifically designed and geared towards adults 18+ suffering from brain injury. It provides amazing recreational and therapeutic programs at a very cost-effective rate. We offer a Caregiver Respite Camp at the same time which gives a loved one time to rejuvenate, receive group counseling sessions and networking with other caregivers
