Teresa served on Brain Injury Association of Georgia Board of Directors and was blessed with many talents. She was a very accomplished gardener. You could tell it as soon as you entered her driveway that she had a special way of knowing what plants needed special attention to thrive. Teresa similarly had the same skill with people. Her passion for the brain injury community was felt by all. She was an active BIAG board member who sponsored our Rock, Roll and Run for Brain Injury, She provided her administrator Michelle Bair to support our executive director and supported our mission in so many other ways. Her impact towards the brain injury community, her friends and community will be missed but her legacy will live on in the impact she made

Jean was a long time volunteer and friend to the Brain Injury Association of Georgia (BIAG). After her son had a TBI, she saw the need for support and guidance for others going through the same journey. This led her to create the Mild Brain Injury Support Group which she helped lead from 1989-2020. There are many wonderful memories we had with her, her husband and son over the years. Jean introduced the idea of a brain injury wallet card, she created beautiful wreaths for silent auction items and more. Her life was a blessing and memories a treasure as her legacy will be the lives she touched, the inspiration she gave. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. We will miss her.
